Tesla, Inc. Receives NHTSA Petition for Decision on Noncompliance with Brake Safety Standards
Tesla, Inc. has filed a petition with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for a decision on whether its noncompliant Model S, Model X, Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck vehicles pose a motor vehicle safety risk. Tesla has reported noncompliance with two federal safety standards, and the NHTSA has received its petition for a determination of inconsequential noncompliance.
