NMFS Closes Mid-Atlantic Scallop Access Area to General Category Vessels

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has closed the Mid-Atlantic Scallop Access Area to Limited Access General Category Individual Fishing Quota scallop vessels until the end of the 2021 fishing year, as 100% of allocated trips are projected to be taken.
