NHTSA Withdraws V2V Communications Proposal

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has withdrawn its proposal for a new Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard requiring vehicle-to-vehicle communications in new light vehicles, following the development of a new V2V protocol and a recent FCC decision on 5.9 GHz band regulations.
