DoD Issues Final Rule on Treatment of Certain Items as Commercial Items

The US Department of Defense (DoD) has issued a final rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to implement sections of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017, which address the treatment of commingled items purchased by contractors and services provided by nontraditional defense contractors as commercial items.
