NMFS Reallocates Pacific Cod in Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is reallocating unused Pacific cod from vessels using jig gear and trawl catcher vessels to smaller vessels using hook-and-line or pot gear and American Fisheries Act catcher/processors in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area to meet the 2020 total allowable catch of Pacific cod.
