General Motors Granted Petition for Inconsequential Noncompliance for Certain Cadillac and GMC Models
General Motors has been granted a decision by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that noncompliance with a federal safety standard for certain model years of its Cadillac XT5 and GMC Acadia vehicles is inconsequential to motor vehicle safety, following a petition filed in June 2020.
