General Motors Granted Exemption from Federal Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard for Buick Envision Line
General Motors, LLC has been granted an exemption from the Federal Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard for its Buick Envision line starting in model year 2023, as the proposed antitheft device is deemed as effective as parts-marking requirements in reducing motor vehicle theft.
