FCA US LLC Denies Petition for Inconsequential Noncompliance with Brake Hoses Regulation

FCA US LLC has denied its petition to the NHTSA, stating that certain model year 2019-2020 Ram 4500/5500 Cab Chassis vehicles equipped with Mopar rear brake hoses and replacement brake hoses do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 106, Brake Hoses, and therefore pose a motor vehicle safety risk.
