North Pacific Fishery Management Council Submits Amendments to Groundfish Fisheries Plans

The North Pacific Fishery Management Council has submitted two amendments to the Fishery Management Plans for Groundfish in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands and the Gulf of Alaska, which would limit the number of catcher/processors receiving Pacific cod from directed fishing vessels and prohibit replaced Amendment 80 vessels from doing so.
