NMFS Opens Directed Fishing for Pacific Cod in Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is allowing catcher vessels under 60 feet in length to fish for Pacific cod in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area using hook-and-line or pot gear, in order to utilize the full 2019 total allowable catch quota for these vessels in the area.
