NMFS Issues Incidental Harassment Authorization for Auke Bay Ferry Terminal Project in Alaska

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued an incidental harassment authorization to the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (ADOT&PF) to allow for the incidental harassment of marine mammals during pile driving activities for the Auke Bay Ferry Terminal Modifications and Improvements Project in Juneau, Alaska, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) as amended.
