Safety Zones; Waterway Training Areas, Captain of the Port Maryland-National Capital Region Zone
Summary
The U.S. Coast Guard is proposing to establish four safety zones in the Patapsco River, Chesapeake Bay, and Potomac River to protect life on navigable waters during non-lethal signaling and warning device training. The proposed rulemaking would restrict access to these areas unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Maryland-National Capital Region or a designated representative.
