NHTSA Extends Comment Period for Proposed Rulemaking on Child Restraint Systems
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is extending the comment period for a proposed rulemaking on child restraint systems by 90 days, in response to petitions from the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, which requested an additional 90 days to review the proposed rule.
