NHTSA Revises Anthropomorphic Test Device Regulation for 3-Year-Old Child Side Impact Test Dummy

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has revised its regulation on anthropomorphic test devices to include design and performance specifications for a 3-year-old child side impact test dummy, the Q3s, following a petition from Humanetics Innovative Solutions Inc. (HIS) to correct errors in the dummy's design.
