Asset Threshold for Determining the Appropriate Supervisory Office

The NCUA Board is proposing to revise its regulations to change the $10 billion asset threshold for assigning supervision of consumer federally insured credit unions to the Office of National Examinations and Supervision. The proposed rule would apply to credit unions with $10 billion or more in assets, and would determine which ones are supervised by the NCUA Regional Office or the Office of National Examinations and Supervision.
