FDA Revises Yogurt Standards to Modernize and Preserve Consumer Protections

The Food and Drug Administration is issuing a final rule to revoke the standards for lowfat yogurt and nonfat yogurt and amend the standard for yogurt, in response to a citizen petition from the National Yogurt Association, to modernize the standards and protect consumer interests.
