NMFS Proposes Specifications for Mid-Atlantic Blueline Tilefish Fishery

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is proposing specifications for the 2019 blueline tilefish fishery north of the North Carolina/Virginia border, as well as projected specifications for 2020 and 2021, in an effort to prevent overfishing while maximizing yields, in accordance with the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act and the Tilefish Fishery Management Plan.
