EPA Seeks Public Comment on Revised Pesticide Testing Requirements
Summary
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is soliciting public input on a petition from the Center for Food Safety (CFS) to update pesticide testing protocols to better account for the potential toxic effects of inert and adjuvant ingredients, as well as interactions between pesticide ingredients in tank mixes, in order to align with the safety standards set by the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).
