US Government Grants Exemptions to 8 Automakers from Anti-Theft Standard
The US government has approved petitions from eight major automakers to exempt their specific model lines from the Federal Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard, starting from model years 2020 and 2021, including BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, Nissan, Tesla, General Motors, Mazda, Mitsubishi, and Toyota.
