FMCSA Grants Limited Exemption to TRALA for ELD Use

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has approved a limited exemption for the Truck Renting and Leasing Association (TRALA) to temporarily suspend the use of electronic logging devices (ELDs) for recording driver hours-of-service (HOS) until December 18, 2017, for vehicles rented for 8 days or less.
