NHTSA Proposes Amendments to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 109 for Tires and Rims
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has proposed amendments to FMVSS No. 109 to clarify the applicability of the standard to certain types of trailer tires, following a petition from the Tire and Rim Association and a review of prior amendments to FMVSS Nos. 109 and 119.
