NHTSA Grants Petition to Delay Odometer Disclosure Exemption Change
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has decided to delay the effective date of the change to the exemption from federal odometer disclosure requirements for one year, from January 1, 2021, to January 1, 2022, in response to petitions from the America Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) and the State of Delaware Department of Transportation.
