NCUA Amends Chartering and Field of Membership Rules

The NCUA Board has updated its chartering and field of membership rules in response to a 2019 court decision, allowing federal credit unions to apply for community charters in certain areas with populations under 2.5 million and clarifying requirements for discrimination in the selection process.
