Commercial Atlantic Bluefish Quota Harvested in New York for 2016

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has announced that the 2016 commercial Atlantic bluefish quota allocated to the state of New York has been fully utilized. As a result, vessels with a Federal permit for this fishery are prohibited from landing bluefish in New York for the remainder of 2016, unless additional quota becomes available through a transfer from another state.
