NHTSA Extends Comment Period for SAFE Vehicles Rule for Model Years 2021-2026

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has extended the comment period for the proposed SAFE Vehicles Rule, which aims to improve fuel efficiency and safety standards for passenger cars and light trucks, until a later date than initially requested by some parties.
