NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming 2011 Mercedes-Benz GL550 Vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has accepted a petition from a company to allow the importation of model year 2011 Mercedes-Benz GL550 vehicles that were originally certified to Canadian safety standards but do not meet US safety standards, provided they can be modified to comply with US regulations.
