NCUA Amends Public Unit and Nonmember Share Rule for Federal Credit Unions

The NCUA Board has amended its rule to allow federal credit unions to receive up to 50% of their paid-in and unimpaired capital and surplus, following public comments on a proposed rule published in May 2019.
