U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Seeks Public Comment on Polar Bear Conservation and Management Program

Summary

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is soliciting public input on a regulatory program and local management structures to conserve and manage the Alaska-Chukotka polar bear population, in collaboration with Alaska Native Organizations and in accordance with the U.S.-Russia Agreement and the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972.
