NHTSA Grants Petition to Modify Test Conditions for Heavy Vehicle Stability Control Systems

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has decided to amend the test conditions for its performance test of electronic stability control systems for heavy vehicles, following a petition from the Truck and Engine Manufacturers Association (EMA) that requested a larger lane width for long wheelbase truck tractors.
