National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Decides to Allow Importation of Nonconforming Fisker Karma Cars
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has made a decision that allows model year 2012 Fisker Karma passenger cars that do not meet all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards to be imported into the US, as they are substantially similar to vehicles originally certified by their manufacturer for US sale and can be easily modified to meet safety standards.
