Regulatory Update of Transfer and Sanction Programs: Changes to Open Container and Repeat Intoxicated Driver Programs

The Federal government has revised regulations for the Section 154 (Open Container) and Section 164 (Repeat Intoxicated Driver) programs, as a result of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation (FAST) Act, to reflect current practice and ensure compliance with new criteria by October 1, 2016, and will accept public comments on the updated rules.
