DoD, GSA, and NASA Propose FAR Amendment to Track Greenhouse Gas Emissions Disclosure

Summary

The Department of Defense, General Services Administration, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration are proposing to add a new field to the System for Award Management to require vendors to disclose publicly their greenhouse gas emissions and reduction goals, in order to assess supplier practices and support agencies in reducing supply chain emissions as directed by the Executive Order on Planning for Federal Sustainability in the Next Decade.
