NMFS Proposes Changes to Atlantic Large Whale Take Reduction Plan Regulations and American Lobster Fishery

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is proposing to modify the start date of the Massachusetts Restricted Area and expand it by 912 square miles, as well as revise Federal lobster regulations to align with the revised start date, in an effort to reduce large whale take and adjust lobster trap fishing closures.
