NMFS Requests Comments on Low-Energy Marine Geophysical Survey in Ross Sea

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is seeking public input on a proposal to allow Louisiana State University, with funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Antarctic Support Contract (ASC), to conduct a low-energy marine geophysical survey in the Ross Sea in January and February 2015, which may incidentally harm 18 species of marine mammals.
