NHTSA Proposes Alternative Test Procedure for Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is seeking public comments on a new proposed rulemaking (SNPRM) that would modify the testing procedure for seat belt assembly anchorages, in response to concerns raised by stakeholders regarding the feasibility of a previously proposed force application device (FAD).
