NHTSA Proposes Changes to Motorcycle Helmet Safety Standard

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is seeking public comments on proposed changes to the motorcycle helmet safety standard, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 218, in response to high motorcycle-related fatalities and poor performance of novelty helmets in tests and crashes.
