NHTSA Waives Buy America Requirements for Certain Federal Grant-Funded Products

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a notice stating that it will waive the Buy America requirements for manufactured products with a purchase price of $5,000 or less, excluding motor vehicles, when purchased using federal grant funds, and is seeking public comment on the decision.
