NHTSA Proposes Rulemaking for Rear Impact Protection on Single Unit Trucks

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is seeking public comment on a proposed rulemaking to require rear impact protection on single unit trucks, which are not currently mandated by federal regulations, and to upgrade the standards for all rear impact guards.
