NHTSA Grants Buy America Waiver for North Carolina Highway Safety Program

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has granted a waiver to the North Carolina Governor's Highway Safety Program (GHSP) to bypass the Buy America requirement for purchasing a Nikon prismless total station using federal highway safety grant funds, due to the lack of suitable US-produced products.
