NCUA Proposes Changes to Community Charter and Field of Membership Rules

The NCUA Board is proposing amendments to its chartering and field of membership rules to allow community credit unions to establish common interests among residents in the area they serve, and to increase the population limit for a community from 10 million to 20 million, effectively expanding the definition of a local community.
