FAA Withdraws Airworthiness Directive NPRM for Boeing 767 Aircraft

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has withdrawn a proposed rulemaking notice (NPRM) for certain Boeing 767 airplanes equipped with General Electric CF6-80C2 engines, as new data indicate the proposed actions would not adequately address an unsafe condition, and the manufacturer has issued new service information to address the issue.
