Bell Helicopter Textron Canada Limited Issues Airworthiness Directive for Bell Model 230 Helicopters

Bell is issuing an airworthiness directive to install a placard on the instrument panel and revise the rotorcraft flight manual to address third stage engine turbine wheel failures caused by excessive vibrations at certain engine speeds during steady-state operations, aiming to prevent engine failure, power loss, and loss of control of the helicopter.
