Notice to Manufacturers of Continuous Friction Measurement Equipment (CFME)

Summary

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking information from foreign manufacturers of Continuous Friction Measurement Equipment (CFME) to determine if a waiver to the Buy American Preferences should be issued, as projects funded under the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) must meet these requirements. The waiver would allow CFME manufacturers that meet FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5320-12C standards to supply equipment to U.S. airports.
