The Boeing Company Issues Airworthiness Directive for 747-8 and 747-8F Series Airplanes

The Boeing Company has adopted a new airworthiness directive requiring repetitive ultrasonic or dye penetrant inspections for cracked barrel nuts and bolts on forward engine mounts to prevent engine separation and loss of airplane control.
