FAA Proposes Establishment of Class E Airspace at Needles VORTAC, CA

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to create a new air traffic control area to improve the safety and management of aircraft operations in the National Airspace System, specifically at the Needles VHF Omni-Directional Radio Range Tactical Air Navigation Aid (VORTAC) in Needles, California, to facilitate the vectoring of IFR aircraft controlled by the Los Angeles Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC).
