U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issues Interim Staff Guidance for Distribution of Source Material Rule

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is releasing interim staff guidance to implement the final rule on distributing source material to exempt persons and general licensees, as well as revising the general license and exemptions, which aims to clarify and update the regulations regarding the handling of source material.
