U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issues Revised Regulatory Guide for Digital Computer Software Used in Nuclear Power Plants

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has released a revised regulatory guide (RG 1.170 Revision 1) that endorses the IEEE Standard 829-2008 for software and system test documentation, with clarifications and exceptions for nuclear power plant safety systems.
