US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Grants Exemption to Southern Nuclear for Vogtle Electric Generating Station
The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company to revise the structure and layout of the Turbine Building at the Vogtle Electric Generating Station, Units 3 and 4, without adhering to the certification information of Tier 1 of the generic design control document.
