NRC Rescinds Security Orders for Spent Nuclear Fuel Transportation

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is rescinding security orders for transporting spent nuclear fuel (SNF) greater than 100 grams, issued from 2003 to 2010, as the new regulations covering physical protection of irradiated fuel in transit have been implemented since 2013.
