NHTSA Grants Buy America Waiver for Motorcycle Helmets Purchased by Florida Department of Transportation

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a waiver allowing the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to purchase motorcycle helmets made overseas using federal grant funds, due to a lack of suitable helmets produced in the US designed for consumer use.
